She is the head of the Institute of Public Health and Medical Law at the 1st Faculty of Medicine of Charles University. She deals with public health issues, medical law and the status of patient organisations. He is the lead author of the interdisciplinary publication Medical Law. She is a member of the Ethics Commission of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic and the Accreditation Commission for Public Health.
